Certificate II in Hospitality

  • This course is best suited for entrants to the industry with at least three (3) months experience wishing to accelerate skill acquisition, especially in customer service.
  • It is composed of five (5) core units and six (6) elective units. The electives are drawn to best reflect the functional areas of the industry, i.e. Front of House, Room Service, Back of House (House Keeping), etc.
  • Ideally the student will be practicing the skills and would attempt the theory and underpinning knowledge for the purpose of achieving the qualification.
  • Assessment of competency is through a test at the end of every e-learning unit and a statement of attainment issued electronically at your request when successfully completed.
  • As the course is structured from approved Australian Training Packages and is accredited by Vocational Education and Training Advisory Board (VETAB) it leads to qualifications that are nationally recognised and within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
